Rehab Setback for Walter Whiteman Sunday, September 2nd , 2046 Omaha Storm Chasers reliever Walter Whiteman got another setback today. His doctors informed him that his injury was not responding to treatment as well as they hoped and that he would need more time to rehabilitate. If all goes well, they expect Whiteman to be ready to go within 12 months. He told BNN, "I didn't expect a torn labrum to take this long to heal." Walter Whiteman is expected to undergo surgery in Omaha(Nebraska) tomorrow. This year Whiteman has earned no saves, worked 55.1 innings, fanned 42 hitters and recorded a 4.72 ERA. He has also put up a 1-2 won-lost mark. |
