Stegall Whitewashes Rainiers Thursday, September 13th , 2046 Larry Stegall of the Buffalo Bisons shut out the Tacoma Rainiers 5-0 at Coca-Cola Field today, holding them to 3 hits with no walks and 8 strikeouts. Pressed for comments on his club's defeat, Tacoma skipper Joe Kowalchuk called the outing from Stegall "a jewel." "The way Stegall was pitching, it would have been tough for anyone to beat him," he said. So far this season Stegall has 8 wins and 3 losses and a 2.32 ERA. |
