Storm End Friess's Streak Thursday, January 5th , 2045 Dan Friess of the Salem Red Sox came up empty at the plate today and went hitless in 3 at-bats for the first time in 21 games. Making matters even worse for the second baseman, Salem dropped the game to the Lake Elsinore Storm 4-3. "It was not a good day today," Friess told the press in postgame comments. "We lost the game and the streak is over." This season Friess has hit at a .317 clip with 14 RBIs, 2 home runs and 8 runs scored. |
