Hit Parade: Fahad Pops 5 Hits Thursday, January 5th , 2045 The Bakersfield Blaze swept past the Wilmington Blue Rocks 10-4 today at Daniel S. Frawley Stadium, paced by first baseman Jawad Fahad. The 21-year-old Fahad got 5 hits in 5 at-bats, helping to down the Blue Rocks. Jawad Fahad hit a solo-shot off Lionardo Rabelo in the 1st, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, hit a two-run single in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. This season Fahad is hitting .302 with 38 hits, 3 home runs, 20 RBIs, scored 14 runs and played in 37 games. |
