Bradenton Sweeps into the Round 2 Thursday, January 26th , 2045 It was a sweet sweep for the Bradenton Marauders as they eased past the Winston-Salem Dash to advance to the Round 2. Bradenton won the final game by a 6-2 count and the series 2-0. "We're just fortunate to get through it quickly and be able to rest up for the next series," said Francisco Gutierrez, who was named series MVP. For the series, Gutierrez hit .500 with a .556 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 1 runs. The Bradenton Marauders will play against the Dunedin Blue Jays in the next round. Dunedin had a bye in the Round 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
