Round 1 Goes the Distance, Bradenton Prevails Tuesday, January 23rd , 2046 In an exciting Round 1 that had its fair share of drama and intrigue, perhaps it is California Winter League fans who have come out the winner. But on the field, the winners were the Bradenton Marauders, who edged the Charlotte Stone Crabs 2-1 to advance to the Division Series. Bradenton won the final game by a 5-1 count to wrap up the series. Micah Boshnjaku earned series MVP honors, by hitting .222 with a .417 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 2 runs. The Division Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
