Keys Cruise to Championship Series with Sweep Saturday, January 27th , 2046 After their 8-4 win today at John Thurman Field over the Modesto Nuts, the Frederick Keys will advance to the Championship Series. Frederick won the series by a 3-0 margin. Leading the way for the Keys was first baseman Mike Sloan, who had a spectacular series and was named MVP. "I don't play differently in the regular season or playoffs. I just go out and do my best every game," he said. "It's certainly nice to play in the big game, but you can't let it get to your head and change your focus." The Championship Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes. |
