Myrtle Beach Pitcher Racks Up Outstanding Pitcher Award Monday, February 26th , 2046 Nicolai Volnov was overpowering this season for the Myrtle Beach Pelicans and earned the 2045 B Division Outstanding Pitcher Award for his efforts. In a standout year he went 5-1 in 8 starts with 65 strikeouts in 54.2 innings and a 1.65 ERA. He received 19 first place votes out of a possible 30. Bud Puffer of the Fort Myers Miracle finished second in voting with 11 first place votes, while Kyle Ridgeway of the Bakersfield Blaze finished third.
