Dan Morataya of the Fort Myers Miracle had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Most Valuable Player Award for 2045.

The 22-year-old right fielder put up a .301 average and a .376 on-base percentage, piling up 44 hits, 5 doubles, no triples, 17 home runs, 43 RBIs and 35 runs scored.

He received 14 first place votes out of a possible 30. Alex Vasquez of the Visalia Rawhide finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while Jesse Scott of the Fort Myers Miracle finished third with 1 first place vote.
