3-HR Game for Palmowski Saturday, December 1st , 2046 Lynchburg right fielder Jeff Palmowski blasted three homers today at Ed Smith Stadium in the 9-0 Hillcats victory over the Salem Red Sox. For the game, Jeff Palmowski scored 3 times and knocked in 4 runs. When he hit his last home run, his teammates, hearing the crack of the bat, leaped off the bench and rushed on the field to greet the jubilant Palmowski when he reached home plate. "It was just one game, but it sure was a lot of fun -- 3-for-4, three roundtrippers and a win," a gleeful Palmowski told BNN reporters in a postgame interview. "What a day." Jeff Palmowski flied out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Cody Humphries in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Nherbert Silivan in the 5th and hit a two-run home run off Ryuhei Shimabukuro in the 7th. Presently Palmowski is batting .333 with 4 home runs and 6 RBIs. He has played in 6 games and scored 5 times. |
