						Nunez Tosses No-Hitter Against Daytona
						Sunday, December 2nd , 2046
Lake Elsinore Storm starter Rogelio Nunez said he was standing behind the mound when the scoreboard caught his eye, confirming what he already knew: He was one out from a no-hitter. For a couple of seconds, he didn't move.
"I took a breath and told myself 'This is the last one,'" Nunez recalled.
The right-hander collected himself, got the final out, and finished one of the greatest performances of his career.
The Lake Elsinore right-hander no-hit the Daytona Tortugas 1-0 at Lake Elsinore Diamond, finishing with 4 walks and 12 strikeouts, facing only 30 batters.
"I knew for a while it was a no-hitter," Nunez admitted later. "But I really didn't worry about it until the last out. I thought I just wanted to win the game, and then I realized I wanted the no-hitter, too."
