Tortugas Moffat Fans 16 Hammerheads Tuesday, December 18th , 2046 Led by an outstanding performance from starter Matt Moffat, the Daytona Tortugas topped the Jupiter Hammerheads today by a score of 2-1 at Roger Dean Stadium. The 22-year-old Moffat brought his top game to the mound, striking out 16 batters while allowing 1 hit and giving up 2 walks. "He made a lot of good pitches out there," Hammerheads manager Rafael Valdez said. "He made some of our guys look bad. We didn't help matters, but we really have to give him credit -- he didn't make many mistakes." This year in 5 starts, Moffat has recorded 3 wins and absorbed 2 losses.
