Lowell's Olivo Gets NYP Player of the Week Monday, June 25th , 2046 Frank Olivo made quite a splash in the McNamara Division this past week. The Lowell Spinners left fielder drilled opposing pitchers for 9 hits in 14 at-bats to roll up a .643 batting average and the McNamara Division Player of the Week Award. He also contributed 1 home run, 3 RBIs and 5 runs scored to his club's offensive attack. Presently Olivo is batting .291 with 64 hits and 4 home runs. He has knocked in 29 runs and scored 37 times. |
