Strijbis Rips Connecticut for 5 Hits

It was a parade of hits for Kennet Strijbis of the Vancouver Canadians at Nat Bailey Stadium today.
Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Strijbis finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Canadians to a 3-2 victory.
"Strijbis was really good and we were really bad," groaned Tigers manager Andy Garcia. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him."
Kennet Strijbis singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 10th.
Presently Strijbis is batting .319 and has collected 5 home runs, 25 RBIs, .366 OBP and scored 33 runs.
