Locke Rips Batavia for 5 Hits Saturday, June 30th , 2046 The Boise Hawks upended the Batavia Muckdogs at Dwyer Stadium today, thanks in large part to shortstop Jamie Locke, who had a smashing day with the bat, racking up 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His big effort helped propel the Hawks to a 13-9 victory. Jamie Locke hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Eric Jordan in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and tripled in the 9th. In 57 games this season Locke has compiled a .290 batting average with 56 hits and 3 home runs. He has also scored 40 times and knocked in 27 runs. |
