League Suspends Jackson and Harrell for Fisticuffs
Tuesday, July 24th , 2046
Daniel Jackson of the Aberdeen Ironbirds and John Harrell of the Connecticut Tigers will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Ironbirds-Tigers game at Ripken Stadium.

Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Jackson and Harrell will begin serving them soon.

So far on the season Jackson is hitting .287 with 3 home runs, 52 RBIs and 57 runs scored. He has 97 hits and played in 90 games.

This season Harrell has a 0-0 mark in 3 starts with a 4.40 ERA. He has given up 26 hits in 28.2 innings, struck out 28 and issued 5 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .236 batting average against him.
