Super Swinger -- Munos Slams 5 Hits Monday, July 30th , 2046 No matter what the Idaho Falls Chukars threw him today, Carlos Munos hit it. The 26-year-old Mahoning Valley Scrappers second baseman racked up 5 hits in 5 at-bats today at Melaleuca Field and led the Scrappers to a 16-7 victory. Carlos Munos tripled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and walked in the 9th. For the year Munos has hit at a .429 clip with 2 RBIs, no home runs and 4 runs scored. |
