Volcanoes Suffer 13-0 Drubbing from Braves

Cesar Pulido of the Rome Braves overwhelmed the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes and walked off the mound with a complete-game shutout. He blanked them 13-0 on 5 hits with a total of 11 strikeouts and 1 walk.
"Cesar was on quite a roll," Rome manager James Zamarripa said. "He gets great late movement and he doesn't give in to the hitters."
On his stats sheet for the year Pulido shows a 3-1 record, 6 starts, 37 innings, 47 strikeouts and a 2.92 ERA.
