Connecticut Right Fielder Picked NYP Player of the Week Monday, August 20th , 2046 It was announced today by the McNamara Division that Connecticut right fielder Andy Sanchez had received the Player of the Week Trophy for his superlative play last week. The Connecticut right fielder wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers, pounding them for a .368 average (7-for-19) with 5 home runs and 12 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. So far this season Sanchez has gotten 50 hits in 183 at-bats for a .273 batting average with 16 home runs. His stats include 45 RBIs and 40 runs scored. He has played in 90 games. |
