Jeremy Adams discovered that today at Ron Tonklin Field, as he smashed three home runs during the 16-0 Hillsboro Hops win over the Brooklyn Cyclones. "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them," the Hillsboro third baseman said in his postgame interview. "The first was a hanging curve, the second was right down the middle and the last one was a good pitch, but I guessed right and put the wood to it." Adams finished the day with 3 hits in 5 at-bats and 7 RBIs. Jeremy Adams hit a solo-shot off Ryan Stegall in the 2nd, grounded out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Danny Helm in the 4th, struck out in the 5th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Danny Helm in the 7th. In the current season, Adams has put up a .252 batting average with 95 hits, 19 home runs, 80 RBI and scored 63 runs. |
