Dreadful Season Sees Playoff Hopes Dashed for Mahoning Valley Thursday, August 23rd , 2046 They were never really in the race anyway, but the Mahoning Valley Scrappers have now been officially eliminated from playoff contention. The Scrappers have missed the playoffs 29 times in their 31 years as a New York-Penn League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 27th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2019. |
