Hits Blitz for Brewers Maul

Milwaukee (NYP) Brewers second baseman Chris Maul hit for the cycle today, but his club still went home with their heads hung low.
The Brewers were upended 7-6 by the Tri-City Dust Devils, despite the big 4-for-5 day from Maul
"It was a good game for me," Maul said later. "I wish it could have been a good game for all of us."
The Brewers second baseman sparked the offense with a truly special performance, hitting 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run to add his name to the record books. Maul also finished with 2 runs scored and 2 runs batted in.
Chris Maul doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI triple in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Kenny Morman in the 7th and flied out in the 9th.
In the current season, Maul has put up a .367 batting average with 102 hits, 7 home runs, 54 runs batted in and scored 64 runs.
