Baker Wins NL Player of the Week Honors Monday, August 27th , 2046 Josh Baker demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the National League Player of the Week Award. The Williamsport catcher wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .500 average (10-for-20) with 4 home runs and 15 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. This year Baker has batted at a .232 pace with 72 hits, 17 home runs, 60 RBIs and scored 50 times. |
