League Rules Moltke Out 4 Games Tuesday, August 28th , 2046 Axel Moltke of the Muckdogs has been suspended by the league commissioner's office for 4 games for his animated argument with a home plate umpire in yesterday's contest with the Tri-City Dust Devils at Dwyer Stadium. In the heated confrontation the Batavia second baseman pointed to where the ball was and repeatedly pointed his finger in the ump's face and apparently made some contact. That's when he got ejected. Reached for comment on the suspension, Moltke said, "I guess I'll have to learn how to not talk with my hands. They are a dangerous weapon according to the umpires." To date this season Moltke is hitting .239 with 6 home runs. |
