Red-Hot Jordan Scorches Cyclones
Sunday, September 2nd , 2046
It was a sensational day at the plate for Omar Jordan as he led the charge to a 26-0 win over the Cyclones. The Salem-Keizer first baseman was pure misery for the Brooklyn pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 7 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting.
"Jordan put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Tyler Lyons, manager for the Cyclones, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball."
Omar Jordan struck out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Adrian Colorado in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Adrian Colorado in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, struck out in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Adrian Colorado in the 8th.
In this current campaign Jordan is hitting at a .400 clip with 15 home runs and 42 RBIs.
