Boseman Goes Yard 3 Times Saturday, September 8th , 2046 Auburn Doubledays bombardier Deshawn Boseman set his sights on the stands and blasted three balls over the fence as his club took a 25-6 win over the Eugene Emeralds today. "I guess you could say I was a good guesser today, especially on the last one," Boseman told writers in the postgame press room. "I was ahead in the count, so I gambled that I'd get a certain pitch, and got all of it." For the game, the Auburn right fielder had 3 hits in 5 at-bats, drove in 9, and scored 3 runs. Deshawn Boseman grounded out in the 1st, hit a GRAND SLAM off Dustin Buckner in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Angel Pesina in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Juan Bonilla in the 6th, hit a sac fly in the 7th and walked in the 9th. For the season Boseman has hit .272 with 18 home runs and 58 RBIs. He has played in 52 games and scored 38 times. |
