Mahoning Valley-Chicago (NYP) Fight Results in Suspensions Thursday, September 20th , 2046 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Mahoning Valley-Chicago (NYP) contest at Eastwood Field. The Scrappers Mitchell Casey and the White Sox Haunani Moritiica will have to sit out 4 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. This season Casey is batting .316 with 6 hits, 4 home runs, 7 RBIs, .500 OBP and has scored 5 runs. This year Moritiica has a 8-6 mark in 22 starts with a 3.19 ERA. He has given up 101 hits in 127 innings, struck out 149 and issued 39 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .217 batting average against him. |
