Volcanoes Won't Get Playoff Berth Monday, September 24th , 2046 The Salem-Keizer Volcanoes will soon be packing their bags and heading home for the year. The 2046 season won't involve a playoff run for the club, as Salem-Keizer was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. Before this season, the Volcanoes last missed the playoffs in 2044. In the 31 years they have been a New York-Penn League franchise, they have missed the playoffs 22 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Volcanoes have made the playoffs 5 times. |
