Rome Punchless in 8-0 Loss to Canadians Sunday, November 11th , 2046 Robby Granados kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the Vancouver Canadians were all smiles after winning 8-0 against the Rome Braves at State Mutual Stadium today. The right-handed Granados gave up no runs in his start, permitted 2 hits and had 9 strikeouts. "If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Granados said later. "My catcher called a great game, guys delivered at the plate and when I messed something up the guys behind me were where they needed to be." Thus far this season, Granados has worked 216.2 innings with 303 strikeouts en route to a 22-0 record and a 1.58 ERA. |
