Lewis Wins Award for NYP Dominance Thursday, November 22nd , 2046 He may only be 23, but Mitch Lewis of the Everett AquaSox has already established himself as one of the elite relievers in the McNamara Division. The reliever was today named the NYP Reliever of the Year winner for 2046. He won the award with a strong year that saw him put up 23 saves in 50 relief appearances and 116 strikeouts in 70.1 innings. He had a record of 5-8 to go with his 2.30 ERA. He received 30 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Victor Villarreal of the Connecticut Tigers finished second in voting, while Jake Gregor of the Vermont Lake Monsters finished third.
