Granados Named NYP Outstanding Pitcher Award Winner

A sparkling 22-0 mark for the year just about says it all -- that's what Robby Granados of the Vancouver Canadians put up this season. That's why the McNamara Division rated him the #1 hurler in the league and named him the 2046 Outstanding Pitcher Award winner.

He held opposing clubs to a .158 batting average and compiled a 1.58 ERA. Granados stood out with 303 strikeouts while giving up 118 hits and 47 walks in 216.2 innings.

He received 30 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. William Cordero of the Vancouver Canadians finished second in voting, while Luis Perez of the Aberdeen Ironbirds finished third.
