Dickeson Goes Yard 3 Times
Sunday, September 30th , 2046
Billings Mustangs left fielder Brian Dickeson put on a dazzling display of power today at Baseball City Complex against the Chicago (APP) Cubs. In the 32-7 Mustangs victory Dickeson penned his name into the record books, slamming a trio of home runs in one of baseball's finest single-day efforts.
"He can hit them out anywhere, right, center, left, it doesn't matter," Chicago (APP) manager Jose Sixtos said. "He's super strong and stays on the ball so well."
Along with his three home runs, the 25-year-old had 3 hits in 5 at-bats, 8 RBIs and 5 runs scored.
"Life will always throw you curves, just keep fouling them off," Dickeson said after the game, when asked about his hitting philosophy. "The right pitch will come, and when it does, be prepared to run the bases. Or trot around them, like I did today."
Brian Dickeson grounded out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Trevor Woodbury in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Trevor Woodbury in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Anastagio Fasola in the 4th, walked in a run in the 5th, walked in the 6th, walked in the 8th and grounded out in the 9th.
Presently Dickeson is batting .338 with 120 hits and 67 home runs. He has knocked in 148 runs and scored 154 times.
