Howell Goes on Rampage Against Pirates Monday, October 15th , 2046 Miami (APP) Marlins shortstop Boof Howell wielded a big stick today against the Bristol Pirates and his club walked off the field winners by the score of 29-0. Howell helped tame Bristol with 5 hits in 7 at-bats. Boof Howell flied out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Alain Marquet in the 2nd, walked in the 3rd, hit a three-run triple in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, flied out in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. Currently Howell is batting .312 with 11 home runs, 47 RBIs and 75 runs scored. |
