Great Day for Carrillo -- 5 Hits Saturday, October 20th , 2046 The Owlz downed the Royals 22-4 today at Burlington Athletic Stadium as Alberto Carrillo exploded for 5 hits. "A couple times, I got a pretty good pitch to hit," the Orem right fielder told reporters in the postgame interview. "A couple times, I had to work for it. But I think they underestimated my abilities." Alberto Carrillo singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Jordan Viveros in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th, walked in the 8th and grounded out in the 9th. Currently Carrillo has 34 home runs and a .331 batting average. |
