Luis Swats 3 Homers Wednesday, October 24th , 2046 Ogden third baseman Antonio Luis led the Raptors to a 17-1 triumph over the Johnson City Cardinals, crushing three home runs. "He's scary good when he's swinging the bat like that," said Ogden skipper Chae-ku Jou. Indeed, Luis put up some "scary good" numbers: three homers, 4 hits in 5 at-bats with 4 runs and 5 RBIs. "I'm just thinkin' about winning ballgames," Luis said. "When you think about home runs, you very seldom get 'em." Antonio Luis hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Emmanuel Godfrey in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Jim Morse in the 5th, struck out in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Alex Melgoza in the 8th. So far this year Luis has hit .395 with 12 home runs, 41 RBIs and 32 runs scored. |
