2046 Top Player Selected In AL

Moses Brokken took Appalachian League by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 23.
For his spectacular campaign, the Oakland (APP) Athletics star has been named the 2046 American League Most Valuable Player Award recipient.
"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the right fielder.
On the season he compiled a .373 batting average to go with a .528 on-base percentage. The native of Antriol, Netherlands Antilles also added 21 doubles, 1 triple, 117 home runs, 243 RBIs and 226 runs scored.
He received 13 first place votes out of a possible 30. D.J. Codd of the Oakland (APP) Athletics finished second in voting with 5 first place votes, while Scott Wiggs of the Oakland (APP) Athletics finished third with 3 first place votes.
