Stinson Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits Saturday, January 14th , 2045 Texas (WIN) right fielder Rich Stinson had a day to remember today, 5-for-5 against the Pittsburgh (WIN) Pirates at Pirate City Complex as the Rangers picked up a 8-0 victory. "He was patient up there today," Texas (WIN) skipper Justin Pope told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Stinson has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Rich Stinson singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and doubled in the 8th. In 42 games this season Stinson is batting .276 with 40 hits and 2 home runs. He has scored 19 runs and driven in 18. |
