Milwaukee (WIN) Southpaw Tosses 5-0 Shutout Sunday, December 31st , 2045 Nolan Stefanski kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the Milwaukee (WIN) Brewers were all smiles after winning 5-0 against the Miami (WIN) Marlins at Maryvale Baseball Park today. The left-handed Stefanski gave up no runs in his start, permitted 3 hits and had 9 strikeouts. "If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Stefanski said later. "My catcher called a great game, guys delivered at the plate and when I messed something up the guys behind me were where they needed to be." To date this season, Stefanski has registered 7 starts, 3-3 won-lost mark, 2.09 ERA, 47.1 IP, 53 strikeouts and 7 walks. Opposing teams have hit .187 against him. |
