5-Hit Barrage by Garciaparra Saturday, January 6th , 2046 Baltimore (WIN) Orioles shortstop Rudo Garciaparra really lit up the Chicago (WIN) Cubs with a 5-hit barrage today at Ed Smith Stadium -- a performance that sparked the Orioles to a 18-0 triumph. He shrugged off the performance after the game, saying "sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes." Rudo Garciaparra hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Mike Alexander in the 8th.
