Injury Brings Season to End for Karamyshev Tuesday, December 25th , 2046 The news was not unexpected, but that didn't make it easier to accept for the Asheville Tourists: reliever Vas Karamyshev is out for the year. Karamyshev suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament on 12/22/2046. The team knew that the chances of seeing him return were slim to none. But today it was made official. This year Karamyshev has collected no saves in 10 relief appearances. He has also compiled a 1-0 won-lost mark with a 4.61 ERA and fanned 19 batters in 13.2 innings. Opponents are hitting him at a .278 clip in 2046. |
