Ross Stops Vanderbilt University Cold, 3-0 Monday, September 17th , 2046 Jayden Ross kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the University of South Carolina Gamecocks were all smiles after winning 3-0 against the Vanderbilt University Commodores at Carolina Stadium today. The right-handed Ross gave up no runs in his start, permitted 3 hits and had 6 strikeouts. "If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Ross said later. "My catcher called a great game, guys delivered at the plate and when I messed something up the guys behind me were where they needed to be." To date Ross is 2-2 in 6 starts with a 3.56 ERA and has 16 strikeouts in 30.1 innings. |
