Shaw Tosses 14-0 Shutout Wednesday, September 26th , 2046 Seth Shaw of the Washington State University Cougars toyed with the Clemson University Tigers today, blanking them 14-0 at Bailey-Brayton Field. He was almost untouchable, baffling them on a 4-hit shutout with 6 strikeouts and 2 walks. "I'm sweating now because it's hot in here," Shaw said in the clubhouse after the game. "But it didn't even feel like I was sweating out there." To this point in the season, Shaw shows a 4-0 record, 7 starts, 39.1 innings, 18 strikeouts and a 2.29 ERA. |
