Coatney DIV I's Best of the Week Monday, October 15th , 2046 17-year-old David Coatney sent shock waves through Evolution last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Dvision 1 Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Coatney made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .522 average, 12 hits in 23 at-bats, 4 home runs and 9 runs batted in. Where the Rice University Owls left fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Coatney certainly made his mark last week. In the 2046 season Coatney is hitting .268 with 7 home runs. |
