Seaman Earns DIV I's Best Pitcher Honor Thursday, November 1st , 2046 Rice University Owls fans lauded the selection of reliever Steve Seaman as Dvision 1 Pitcher of the Month for October. The 17-year-old hurler was nothing short of masterful, holding enemy hitters to a .233 average. In 8 relief appearances he put up a 6-0 record, no saves, 17 strikeouts and an ERA of 3.75 over 24 innings. So far this year Seaman has been credited with no saves, registered a 3.99 ERA and struck out 30 in 47.1 innings. He also has a 8-1 record. |
