Injury Shuts Down Marsh for Season
Friday, November 23rd , 2046
Ryan Marsh has to call it a season. The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Tar Heels first baseman learned today that the full extent his injury suffered on 11/20/2046 is worse than hoped. He will not play again this year according to club doctors, who diagnosed the injury as a ruptured medial collateral ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 7-8 months.

The team will likely place Marsh on the injured list today.

Presently Marsh is batting .236 with 7 home runs and 23 RBIs. He has played in 77 games and scored 30 times.
