Mitchell Wins DIV I Batter of the Month Saturday, December 1st , 2046 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 17 Pete Mitchell has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young Vanderbilt University Commodores star can enjoy the numbers he put up in November, which have garnered him the nod as the Dvision 1 Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .294 average with 9 home runs, 29 RBIs and 15 runs scored. Mitchell is presently hitting at a .326 pace with 34 home runs, 90 RBIs and has scored 66 times. |
