November's Top Newcomer Picked by DIV I Saturday, December 1st , 2046 Youngster Pete Mitchell emerged as the latest Dvision 1 Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Vanderbilt University deserved the honor, batting .294 with 9 home runs and 29 runs batted in. Is the month of November a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Mitchell enjoy the limelight. This year Mitchell is batting .326 with 34 home runs and 90 RBIs. In 81 games he has scored 66 times. |
