Star of the Week Honored in DIV II Monday, December 10th , 2046 18-year-old Eric Kent sent shock waves through Evolution last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Division 2 Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Kent made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .318 average, 7 hits in 22 at-bats, 3 home runs and 6 runs batted in. Where the Washington State University Cougars third baseman goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Kent certainly made his mark last week. So far this year in 69 games Kent is hitting .283 with 13 home runs, 33 RBIs and 31 runs scored. |
