Suspensions Handed Out for Bench-Clearing Brawl Monday, December 10th , 2046 Lihau Keawe of the University of Arizona Wildcats and Al Nava of the Fresno State University Bulldogs will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 5 and 10 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Wildcats-Bulldogs game at Hi Corbett Field. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Keawe and Nava will begin serving them soon. Presently Keawe is batting .145 with no home runs and 4 RBIs. He has played in 56 games and scored 2 times. To this point in the season Nava has no saves in 27 relief appearances with a 2-0 record and 4.24 ERA. |
