DIV I Player of the Week Named Monday, December 17th , 2046 19-year-old Efrem Isaev sent shock waves through Evolution last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Dvision 1 Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Isaev made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .407 average, 11 hits in 27 at-bats, 3 home runs and 9 runs batted in. Where the University of Toronto Marlies first baseman goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Isaev certainly made his mark last week. For the season Isaev is hitting .305, batted in 61 runs with 22 home runs and 69 runs scored. |
